G&D Free ~ Day #3: Pie and Pantry

Well, this is not quite a consecutive week of posts, but I'll blame the long weekend for that. Visiting family and travel adventures led to little time for blogging but there certainly were oppurtunities to be creative with home cooking and restaurant ordering!

Firstly, my gluten and dairy free pantry is wonderfully expanding!

Secondly, I baked a pie from a "grain-free" cook book. The flour used is almond. Though it called for butter I replaced that with cocoanut oil. It turned out quite tasty!
